I promise not to "overdo" it the same way I have done last time with water colour. There won't be multiple exercises - one small still life to grasp a basic pastel technique (one only!)
If you can bring dry pastels - brand does not matter, but it must be dry - no crayons, please! The colour selection does not matter - full range, or greys, or Earth palette - whatever you have/like. I will have some spares too.
Any paper will do. Special pastel paper is good, colours pastel paper is Ok, but any sketching/drawing paper with a little bit of texture and thickness will be fine as well. The size is up to you, but please - not smaller than A4 size.
Please, bring some hair spray. If you have a special pastel spray to fix the medium, it is good, but a hair lacquer will work as well.
Tissues, cotton pads or something to smudge the pastel without getting your hands too dirty also will help.
